Blu-ray.com gives the disc pretty good reviews. I'll wait for the Criterion release.

Indeed, the clarity of the image sometimes works against the film, because certain CG effects, which already looked questionable at the time of the film's release (e.g., the driver POV shots) now look truly dated.
